Sip and Stay: Discover Buon Giorno
When you see a 21-story tower in downtown Fort Worth, you might expect a bank inside—and you’d be right, if it were still the First National Bank. But today, it’s home to a mix of businesses, including Buon Giorno, a cozy coffee shop where Italian espresso brings people together.
As you walk in, a colorful “wake up and smell the coffee” sign (along with other cute, coffee-themed art) welcomes you. The baristas are skilled and patient, ensuring your drink is perfectly balanced — our current favorite is the dark chocolate mocha. Their house-made pastries, like the vegan savory roll with its nutty, flaky goodness, are irresistible and hand-delivered, making you feel like more than just another order.
Even if you’re not a coffee expert, you’ll notice the care in each cup, echoing the nostalgia of old European coffee shops where locals gather. The vanilla yellow walls, dim lights, and ambient music (ranging from classical to Fleetwood Mac) invite you to linger. It’s a great spot to work or study, though the limited plugs might have you waiting for a table.
TLDR: Stop by Buon Giorno, and you’ll be a regular before you know it!
